We had a party of 5, my hubby, myself, our son, and my folks. Super embarrassed because my Son was with us. I frequent it once or twice a year for this very reason. Note: they no longer have table games, just slot machines. Just be smart as if you win a chunk of change, cash out and leave. Native Lights has very friendly employees, offer a safe environment, and allow you to play and have fun. Also, if you know in advance you may need a place to spend the night, contact First Council for availability at their hotel, or head South to Ponca City as they have numerous hotels/motels, too. Heads up: I find the slot machines at Native Lights are open more during the mid-afternoon hours on Fri/Sat/Sun. Four (4) casinos in a close range of each other. If you plan a trip to Newkirk, visit all the casinos: Native Lights, First Council, the gas station casino next to First Council, and if you head a tad bit further South, visit Southwind of Newkirk.
They have live local bands on Fri/Sat nites, too. I won't eat at their pricey restaurant as I haven't heard anything good about it, unfortunately.
They have very pleasant staff, and the little cafe has decent food for the price. I continued to win money every visit thereafter until they started to tighten up their slot machines in 2014. First time I visited Native Lights Casino was in March 2012, and I won my first ever jackpot (not a biggie, but it was totally unexpected).
